What is Barney Frank So Afraid Of?
August 26, 2010 — Barney Frank, the champion debater, and notorious thug, has finally agreed to debate Rachel Brown before the September 14th Democratic primary election. Our campaign initially requested to hold the debate in a public forum in a central area, accessible to all residents of the district, but Barney refused, and said he’ll only debate us in Newton, in a TV studio, with no one else there. Of course Rachel will be ready to debate him under any circumstances, but Frankly, this one might as well be taking place in a closet.
So what is Barney Frank so afraid of? Possibly a repeat of the "Meet the Candidates" forum sponsored by the Oak Point Veteran's Association in Middleboro, this past Wednesday night.
Barney began with an incoherent rant which no one really listened to or expected to make any sense. Rachel Brown spoke next and uplifted the discussion to the collapse of the nation's economy, warning of a new period of breakdown having recently been reached by the Fed's announcement of more hyperinflationary money printing, and proposed solving the economic crisis with policies like NAWAPA www.larouchepac.com/nawapa and Glass-Steagall. She confronted Barney on the lies he had presented in his speech, and when she spoke of the need for a president who is in reality, and that the only way to get these policies through is with Obama removed from office, she received an outburst of applause from the audience.
This is what Barney is afraid of. He’s afraid of reality, and he’s afraid of the truth. He knows that Rachel’s campaign is activating our constituents to not just end his career, but turn around the very economic crisis that Barney Frank himself helped create; and he doesn’t want to have to face that reality.
So our campaign needs to escalate. Contribute everything you can to keep us out on the streets, visible, and active, to make sure that Bailout Barney is down for the count.
